Hi boys and girls,

It is nice to read all your blog entries and posts. It gives me the opportunity to hear your thoughts and also to understand what you all go through. I hope that by reading what your friends have to say, you will realise that all of you are together on this journey towards the completion of your Primary school studies. You will realise that you are not alone and there are friends around you that understand what you are going through.

I notice that many of you feel that there's a lot of work to do and you are stressed out. Well, Primary 6 is a difficult year because of the PSLE but like I've said many times in class, as long as you do your work consistently, you pay attention in class and do your homework and worksheets well, you will be able to do just fine. You must change your own mindset to realise that this year will be one where you will have to work extra hard to do well. It is not like previous years where you have a lot of free time. I believe that each one of you are capable of working hard and doing your best. You have to determine to give of your best and not be thinking of playing and resting all the time. That way, you might feel that this year isn't so difficult and stressful.

Just like an athelete has to train everyday and suffer while he is training, it is the same with all of you as you suffer and do worksheet after worksheet. If you take your daily school work seriously, you will realise that as the PSLE or even the CAs and SAs draw near, you are well prepared and you are confident of being able to complete the different papers. The more you practice, the more you will realise that you have done similar questions before and you therefore know the answers to the question they are asking.

It is always hardest in the beginning so continue to hang in there and do your best. Do get enough rest. It is not healthy if you study ALL THE TIME and have no time to rest or take a break. It is alright if you play with your computer games, go out to the playground and have fun with your friends and even watch television but remember to balance that with the time spent on your studies. Try and sleep early! Remember what Miss Tan said that day during the IPP exercise? Sleeping at 9pm is good for you. It keeps you alert. Try it sometime!

Enjoy your weekend! One more week before the CA begins. I hope you are all studying hard!
